Advantages:

IHC-TekTM Proteinase K Solution, Ready To Use

Catalog# IW-1101
Size: 20 ml
Price: $185

Formalin or other aldehyde fixation forms protein cross-links that mask the antigenic sites in tissue specimens, thereby giving weak or false negative staining for immunohistochemical detection of certain proteins. This proteinase K based solution can unmask antigens and epitopes in formalin-fixed and paraffin embedded tissue sections, thus enhancing staining intensity of antibodies.

IHC-TekTM Washing Buffer PBS-Tween 20, Ready To Use

Catalog#
IW-1200, IW-1200-1L
Size: 500 ml, 1000 ml
Price: $58, $85

This PBS (pH 7.4) based IHC Washing Buffer is specially formulated to lower surface tension, maximize efficiency of washing, thus reducing background staining in IHC, ICC, IF and whole mount applications. It is NOT recommended to use this buffer for Alkaline Phosphatase (AP) conjugated antibodies or detection systems.

IHC-TekTM Washing Buffer TBS-Tween 20, Ready To Use

Catalog# IW-1201, IW-1201-1L
Size: 500 ml, 1000 ml
Price: $58, $85

This TBS (pH 8.4) based IHC Washing Buffer is specially formulated to lower surface tension, maximize efficiency of washing, thus reducing background staining in IHC, ICC, IF and whole mount applications. It is also suitable for Alkaline Phosphatase (AP) conjugated antibodies or detection systems.

IHC-TekTM Peroxidase Blocking Solution, Ready To Use

Catalog# IW-1300
Size: 100 ml
Price: $125

Some cells or tissues contain endogenous peroxidase. Using HRP conjugated antibody may result in non-specific background staining. This non-specific background can be significantly reduced by pre-treatment of cells or tissues with this Peroxidase Blocking Solution prior to incubation with HRP conjugated antibody. This solution is suitable for both paraffin sections and frozen sections.

IHC-TekTM Avidin/Biotin Blocking Solution, Ready To Use

Catalog# IW-1301
Size: 20 ml Avidin/20 ml Biotin
Price: $185

Some cells or tissues, such as kidney, liver, spleen, intestine, colon, and prostate, contain endogenous biotin. Using Avidin-Biotin detection methods (ABC, LSAB) may results in non-specific background staining. This non-specific background can be significantly reduced by pre-treatment of cells or tissues with this Avidin/Biotin Blocking Solution prior to the incubation of biotinylated antibody.
